Blood banks & transfusion services

A blood bank or transfusion service works across the whole chain: donor collection, separation of blood components, controlled storage and release for transfusion. Presvac designs and manufactures equipment for each of these stages, so a service can equip its complete workflow with a single manufacturer.

We also handle installation and user training, and help plan preventive and corrective maintenance.

Equipment by stage

• Collection T-5 donation chairs and the AE-500A collection mixer with integrated scale.
• Processing Refrigerated blood bag centrifuges for 4, 6 or 12 bags, the BP-600 plasma extractor press and the Plasma Soft plasma thawer.
• Storage FEDE-4 refrigerators at 4 °C, the FEDE-35 biomedical freezer and the FH-80 −80 °C ultra-low freezer.
• Platelets Linear agitators and temperature-controlled incubators for 48 or 96 units.
• Laboratory support DCS-16RVT PLUS and DCA-300 RVT centrifuges for routine work and crossmatching.
